Welcome!
We offer unique services individually tailored to the needs of our families. We will meet with each family and discover their expectations for their labor and birth experience and strive to help make that possible.
The support a doula offers is caring and unconditional. A doula serves throughout pregnancy and birth to provide continuous support, encouragement and comfort to the mother and father as they journey into parenthood.
Our goal is to ensure you have the best birth experience possible by meeting your physical and emotional needs as well as creating a comfortable birthing atmosphere.

My dream as a little girl was always to be a mother and a nurse. The first dream was fulfilled when my son was born, and 4 years later the birth of identical twin daughters. I was a stay-at-home mom and able to participate in all of their extracurricular activities. When my daughters were about to graduate from high school, I began to wonder what I was going to do. No cheerleading practices, no football, basketball, volleyball…
Discussing this with my children, they all three said now was the time for me to go to school and achieve my second dream—become a nurse. So off to the same university that my son, daughters and daughter-in-law were also attending! Who would have ever thought I would go to college with my kids?
I graduated with my RN in 1995 and began work on the OB / Maternial Child unit of the hospital. It was wonderful, but there was something missing—
I then pursued becoming a childbirth educator so I could spend more time with the parents. This was great!
While off on medical leave in 2001, I began to research other options to spend more time with the parents and began learning about doulas. I was hooked! Sounded like exactly what I had been looking for. I began the studies, read the books, and went for the training.
Since 2001 I have been a certified birth doula. I continue to work as a registered nurse in the nursery, teach all of the childbirth education classes, work as a lactation specialist, I am an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant.
I truly love what I do! I am blessed to be at the birth of God’s miracles. I am honored, as a doula, to be chosen to share in this most important moment in a couple’s life.
What else have my children done for me? Blessed me with 8 beautiful grandchildren. I have 4 grandsons & 4 granddaughters. They range in age from 20 years to 3 years. I am fortunate to live in the same town with all of them. I get to follow them in their school and sporting activities and spend as much time as I want with all of them.
God is good and I am blessed!

Being a mom was my goal in life. Even as a little girl, I was always taking care of the babies in our family.
My precious mom knew motherhood as the best job a woman could have. She felt, however, that I needed to use my "nurturing personality " in other ways too. So she enrolled me in nursing school. I have been forever grateful for this. Over the years I have been blessed with many wonderful nursing jobs, all around the country.
In 1999, I decided I needed to add another profession to my busy life. So I followed another dream and became a licensed massage therapist, specializing in pregnancy massage. This worked well with my nursing, and again gave my a chance to use my "nurturing personality".
In 2002 one of my nurse friends, and a client of mine, was telling me about how she became a Doula and that I would make a good one too. She guided and encouraged me through the process and I am now a certified Doula. We are a wonderful "team" and I am so honored and blessed to be a part of the miracle of life. My three professions compliment each other so well and how blessed I am to love all my jobs.
These jobs are all wonderful, but my best jobs are those of being a mom to my beautiful daughter and son, and grandma to my 3 beautiful grandbabies. The USAF keeps me separated from my kids, but boy do I collect the frequent flyer miles going to see them as often as possible.
I have been lead down many paths. I love the direction of all of them and each trip has been a rewarding adventure. Just keep the adventures coming, because I am ready!
Pam is a LVN, LMT, CD. She is also a certified pregnancy massage therapist. Pam loves photography and enjoys taking photos (with parents' permission) during labor to capture special moments for the families.
